My Summer 2021 Bucket List

All of the things that I want to do this summer, before I start a very different chapter in my life; college!

Let's start, shall we?

Go To Montreal

It's pretty sad that I've lived in Canada since forever and I've never been to Montreal. I have a few good friends there, so I'm super excited to see them, and finally after a long time, I've planned this trip for August! I'm very excited to live it up in Montreal, see my friends and finally just leave Ontario for a bit after the year we've all had.

Visit Sauble Beach

Again, I've lived in Canada forever and I've never seen Sauble Beach! Apparently it's one of the nicest beaches in Ontario. I've only ever been to Wasaga Beach but I'm ready to take the long drive to Sauble...I've got a fantastic playlist to go along with the ride.

Perform at a Party

I've taken 7 years of music lessons in school, I might as well put it to some good use. I play the guitar, piano, saxophone and sing, but I would love to play my guitar and sing at someone's party, and finally know what it's like to be a performer even if it's on a small scale.

Have a Movie/TV Marathon

Sometimes, you just need a day to do nothing and watch all your favourite shows and movies. I recently started Grey's Anatomy (had to feed into my adoration for Patrick Dempsey) so I would love to call over some friends, tell them to keep their PJ's on and just relax watching some cheesy shows and movies together. Disney is also a must, and of course some J-Lo rom-coms.

Go To Cottage Country

My best friend has a cottage near Wasaga Beach, and I just love going there. Everyone who knows me knows how much I love the beach, waves and sand, so to me that is just heaven. I'd love to bring my guitar, sit on the beach and listen to the sound of the waves while I play some songs.

Enjoy My Birthday

So this year is a milestone birthday for me, an age that I have waited a long time for, so it's a pretty big deal for me. I want to enjoy this more than any other birthday I have ever had. I'm not too keen on the focus on myself on my birthdays because I'm more of a "celebrate those around you" kind of person, but this year I intend to enjoy everything about my birthday.

P.S. My birthday is July 23!

Go To a Drive - In Theatre

I've never been to one! I'd love to go with my friends, just hang in the car in comfy clothes and lots of snacks, watching a random movie! I think it would be a different experience, something out of the usual which is what this summer is all about to me.

Buy a Kiddie Pool

So, I don't have a pool anymore, but that doesn't mean I don't want one! I want to buy one of those $30 pools from Walmart and just put it in my backyard, with my beach music playlist and a drink. That sounds like the saddest day ever to most people, but to me it's heaven!
