My Ideal Colourpop Cosmetics Launch

Here is a launch that I would create with Colourpop given the opportunity!

Let's start, shall we?

Enchanted x Colourpop

I absolutely adore the movie Enchanted. I feel like it was the more realistic Disney movie, kind of poking fun at typical princesses and relationships within the Disney universe. So here is my ideal Enchanted x Colourpop collection!

Products

I think that this collection would be so successful with one palette, two blushes, three lip shades, five piece brush set, two highlighters, three eyeliners and one mirror.

Packaging

I think some really beautiful shades of blue could compliment the packaging, with cold cursive just like the movie poster...here it is for reference.

Palette

Although it's been done, this collection just needs a palette. I think it would be so smart to call it Ever Ever After, like the song that plays at the end of the movie. I think when Colourpop came out with the Masquerade collection, Giselle's package was actually called Ever Ever After, so that should stay the same but just be the main focus. Some blues, golds, purples, reds, silver, gold, browns, a mix of matte and shimmer shades would be stunning. Here are some of my ideas for shade names, a mix of character names and just things related to the movie.

- Pip

- Morgan

- Castle

- Nancy

- Curtain Dress

- Date

- Larissa

- Candy Apple

- Serpent

- Nathaniel

Blushes

I know that Andalasia was already a highlighter from the Masquerade collection, so I'd keep that but I'd change that to a blush in a lighter peach shade for lighter skin tones and make the darker berry shade for darker skin tones, That's How You Know, after the extravagant musical number in the middle of the movie.

Lipsticks

How smart would it be to call a lipstick, True Loves Kiss? A really stunning matte coral, it would be so nice. Then, another one called Edward. This would be a deep berry shade, with a satin finish to compliment Prince Edward's outfit and the blush, That's How You Know. Lastly, a sharp romantic red, bordering on a wine colour, called Robert. He was, after all, the one Giselle ends up with.

Brush Set

5 eye and face brushes with light blue tops, and clear plastic handles, to look like crystal. Simple.

Highlighters

Just like the blushes, there should be two shades, one for lighter skin tones and one for darker skin tones. A simple sparkling silver with a marble effect of coral running through the pan, could be called So Close, just like the song that Robert and Giselle dance to at the ball. The darker shade could be a gold with berry running through the pan as well, called Happy Working Song, just like when Giselle cleans Robert's apartment.

Eyeliners

I would love three more cream gel liners, one in a true 24k gold called Royal, a sharp royal blue called Kings and Queens (in reference to the ball) and lastly, a soft lavender shade called, Giselle.

Mirror

This would be so smart, to have this collection come out with a mirror called, none other than, Magic Mirror. Prince Edward mentioned this a lot during his time in New York, calling the TV a magic mirror.

So that would be my ideal Colourpop launch, I wish they would take more time to do themes like this rather than just random collections. What do you think?

Vi voglio bene,

Melissa
