Makeup Products I Wouldn't Buy Again

Not everything I try is a huge success, and rightfully so...it makes me appreciate the good products more. So here are some products that I tried and wasn't impressed with, so I won't buy again.

Let's go, shall we?

ELF Mint Melt Cooling Primer

There was something about the scent of this primer that just made me nauseous. It doesn't smell like mint, although some people do say it smells like vanilla, I didn't find that to be the case. The smell is overpowering and reminds me of the Victoria's Secret perfume, Warm and Cozy which I'm not a fan of. I do like that it's a sticky primer, but if it was unscented it would be 10 times better.

Essence Pretty Natural Foundation

Personally I like medium/full coverage foundations but I also like the feeling of nothing on my skin...that being said, this wasn't that great for what I look for. I wanted something medium/full coverage but still lightweight, and this disappointed me for a few reasons; the shades are very strange, they don't match at all to what their description or shade number would be....ex, Neutral Vanilla is significantly darker than it should be. I had to basically cake it on for any coverage at all which is not ideal. Maybe if I didn't have so much to cover, I would try a different shade, but I'm still not convinced.

Anastasia Beverly Hills DIPBROW Gel Mini

This was the first ABH product I ever tried, and I wasn't impressed. The "gel" is not really a gel, its a splotchy liquid that coats your brows and makes them absolutely laminated and matte; not in a good way. It takes away any realistic dimension and shading in your brow, and lasts a solid 10 minutes. Try at your own risk.

Too Faced Mini Lip Injection Extreme Lip Plumper

Thank God I bought the mini version with a gift card and not the full size. This definitely plumps, but it lasts only about 5 minutes, and burns a lot more than it should for the amount of pain you have to endure using it. I still have about half the bottle, and I don't use it for the sole reason that I don't want to feel like my mouth is on fire.

$19.00 CAD

Mini Matte Cream Bronzer by MILK Makeup

Again, this is the first thing from MILK that I tried, and I wasn't too impressed. The formula was alright, basic, i'm pretty sure I get the same results from my Essence Sun Bronze for about $4.00 compared to the whopping $24.00 for the mini size of this MILK bronzer. Also, I went to twist it up and it broke. I'm honestly just upset about the price for the most part, because this product is really nothing special and it's being sold for a crazy price.

$24.00 CAD

And so, those are some of the products I won't buy again, have you tried any of them? Let's have a conversation.

Vi voglio bene,

Melissa
