Interview with Viral TikTok Star, Adriano Leonardo.
I had the privilege of talking with the viral TikTok star, Adriano Leonardo to talk about his success, life and more!
1. What inspired you to start making TikTok videos?
I started social media to gain some following so I could use my reach to promote my barber shop that I want to have in future. But I gained way more followers than expected.
2. How would you describe your video style in three words? (The types of videos, ecc.)
Sarcastic, overdramatic, classy.
3. If you could have a message for your fans and followers, what would it be?
I appreciate the comments on my videos they make me laugh and keep me entertained. I really love it when I read that I made someone’s day this motivates me very much.
4. Do people typically take your videos seriously or as satire? What is the response like that you get from the public?
Yes they do. Sometimes tho I’m unlucky and for whatever reason I get shown to a younger audience that doesn’t understand a joke. This is annoying but I can’t blame them they’re kids. It’s funny tho when I see 13 year olds stitching my videos being mad at me.
5. Did you ever expect to go as viral as you did on TikTok?
In the first months I didn’t go viral. As I started getting better and better my views increased but they were still low. As I then had my first viral video, yes I expected it to go viral, at least I thought it had to because I spend hours and sometimes days for some videos like these, even tho they sometimes look like they were made in a few minutes. I focused on many details that catch the eye and grab the attention in order to keep the viewers on the video and increase the watch time. But views and follows are just numbers and I don’t care about them. I don’t feel any happiness when I go viral. All I care about is my goals and my subscribers they are very cool and funny guys.
6. Where are you from? Do people around town recognize you?
I'm from Germany. And no but that’s nearly impossible I guess since I mostly wear a cap and a mask when I'm in town
7. If you could have one wish for yourself, what would it be?
I wish I had more money and reach to actually help people effectively.
8. Where do you get the ideas to do these videos?
I don’t have a source for inspiration yet. I just have a normal scene in my head everyone knows like going for a dinner date and then I add some what if scenarios until I think the plot is dramatic, dumb and funny. Oftentimes tho it looked way funnier in my head and I can’t put all of the ideas in a 20 second video together.
Here you can watch one of Adriano's TikTok's!
